OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Reports to: Executive Director

Direct Reports: Facilities Coordinator(s), Truck Drivers, Equipment Coordinators

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan rehearsal facility logistics, including securing appropriate venues and managing scheduling conflicts.

  • Guide and collaborate with Facilities Coordinators to find rehearsal venues, overnight housing, and clinic opportunities.

  • Coordinate transportation logistics, including truck/trailer rentals and recruiting truck drivers for transport of the Crossroads equipment to show and rehearsal sites.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with rehearsal facilities and show venues, addressing any issues or concerns.

  • Work with Ensemble Directors to create weekly schedules and ensure schedules are shared with all relevant individuals.

  • Coordinate with the Treasurer to ensure prompt payments are made for all equipment and service purchases.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with logistics and events; organized and good at planning.

  • Great at communicating with people across all levels of the organization.

  • Can work well independently and with a team.

  • Good at solving problems and finding solutions.

  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes; works well under pressure.

  • Experienced with scheduling and project management tools.

Anticipated commitment: 8+ hours/week and expected to be present at most rehearsals/shows
